An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic doctor to join the Rheumatology team in a Trust Grade role. This is a short-term maternity cover fixed term post (contract length to be discussed and agreed with successful applicant) but we also envisage advertising for a substantive role in the summer of 2025, which any successful applicant would be encouraged to apply for.
There is a responsibility to undertake four rheumatology clinics a week with consultant supervision. The successful applicant will contribute to the department teaching programme for medical students and health care professionals and will also be expected to see inpatient referrals. Clinics are mainly held at the Nightingale Hospital Exeter site, although there are some local community clinics which the successful applicant may be asked to participate in.
