* Location: Spires Business Unit, Unit 1 Mugiemoss Road, Aberdeen, AB21 9NY
* Hours: Predominantly Monday–Friday, day shift, with occasional weekend work as required by business needs
* Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
Maintenance Engineer Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Engineer to support the efficient and consistent production capability of our Mugiemoss laundry facility. You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, minimal downtime, and safe operation.
Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on all site equipment
* Respond to and resolve equipment breakdowns quickly and effectively
* Support continuous improvement through proactive fault finding and root cause analysis
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety and regulatory standards
* Maintain accurate records in the site’s CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System)
* Analyse maintenance data to identify recurring issues and help drive improvements
* Work closely with production teams to support efficient and consistent factory performance
* Weekend work may be required as per business need
What We’re Looking For:
* Recognised engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent)
* Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience (industrial laundry or production equipment experience an advantage)
* Confident using CMMS systems and maintenance best practices
* Proactive, hands-on approach with problem-solving abilities
* Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
