Student Sonographer - Band 5
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified State Registered radiographer, midwife, or nurse to join our ultrasound team and undertake a Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound.
The role involves working across all aspects of Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and General Abdominal Ultrasound. Small parts imaging can be included as credits or as part of in-house training.
Training duration is 12 months, with practical work undertaken in the ultrasound department. The academic component will be delivered at King's College University through academic blocks, while clinical placements will occur in various departments to develop clinical skills.
The successful candidate will be based at West Middlesex University Hospital.
The post-holder is expected to complete the Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound, attending King's College University on a day-release basis, with clinical training provided within the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex Hospital Ultrasound Departments.
