Job Description:
Estio Training is thrilled to offer a new opportunity for an IT Support Engineer Apprentice with Sweetbyte based in Rochford.
Role Summary:
The role is for 1st and 2nd line IT Support, working alongside colleagues with over 25 years of worldwide experience, whilst collaborating with leading technology partners such as Microsoft, Dell, Synology, and Apple. Sweetbyte is looking for an individual to support their continued growth in the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
As an IT Support Engineer Apprentice, your main roles and responsibilities will include:
* IT helpdesk Support, logging calls and resolving issues over the phone with customers.
* Customer site visits to support IT-related issues.
* Project work, migrations, and rolling out new IT infrastructure.
* Computer installation and configuration.
* PC / Apple Mac Support.
* IP Telephony support and configuration.
* Backup checks and reporting.
* Monitoring and maintenance of customer IT systems.
* Monitoring and maintenance of customer network infrastructure.
Qualifications:
* Educational Requirements: 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent, including English Language and Maths.
Skills Required:
* A true team player with the ability to work independently.
* Quality conscious and goes the extra mile for customers.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Logical and creative thinking skills.
* A genuine interest in technology.
* Excellent communication skills.

* *IT qualifications/experience preferred; previous telephone/IT work is advantageous.*
