This Marketing Intern role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in B2B marketing, working on content creation, digital campaigns, CRM administration, and automation. You will work closely with the Designer, who manages social media, ensuring alignment between content, social media, and email campaigns, and the Client Services Administrator, who manages HubSpot’s Sales Hub, to ensure marketing efforts support business objectives.
We understand that this is a broad role, and you may not have experience in every area listed. If you have a passion for marketing and a willingness to learn, we will mentor, support, and train you to be effective in the role. You will be working closely with the Head of Marketing and the marketing team, as well as our external partners, to achieve our objectives.
Key Responsibilities for the Role:
Email Marketing & CRM Administration
Create, schedule, and optimise email marketing campaigns in Mailchimp.
Segment contact lists and manage audience engagement.
Analyse email campaign performance and suggest improvements.
Support CRM activities in HubSpot, ensuring marketing and sales data alignment.
Assist in developing automated workflows to improve lead nurturing.
Content Creation & Social Media
Write, edit, and proofread content for blogs, case studies, email campaigns, and website updates.
Ensure all content is aligned with brand guidelines and SEO best practices.
Work with the Designer to ensure marketing materials and social media posts are cohesive.
Schedule and manage social media content using Hootsuite.
AI, Automations & Workflows
Use ChatGPT and other AI tools to support content creation and process optimisation.
Assist in marketing automation and workflow development to enhance efficiency.
Explore ways to integrate AI-driven tools for improved marketing effectiveness.
Campaign Support & Lead Generation
Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital channels.
Work closely with the Client Services Administrator to ensure marketing efforts align with sales initiatives.
Monitor campaign performance and provide data-driven insights.
Market Research & Reporting
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
Support the marketing team by preparing reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide insights to enhance campaign performance and lead generation strategies.
Person Specification
Experience with marketing automation tools like Make, Zapier or HubSpot workflows.
Basic understanding of SEO and keyword research.
Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Previous experience in B2B marketing or an infrastructure-related industry (desirable, not essential).
