SEMH Teaching Assistant - Barnet, North London - Pupil Referral Unit
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant living in or around North and Northwest London? Do you thrive in a challenging environment?
Empowering Learning is seeking SEMH Teaching Assistants looking for an exciting new challenge working with students with emotional behavioural difficulties. We are looking for candidates with experience working with children with emotional behavioural disorders (EBD), social emotional mental health difficulties (SEMH), and other challenging behaviours.
You will be required to work with students across all ages in one of our SEMH/EBD schools, alternative provisions, PRUs, or Primary Schools. The correct candidate will be in a class of up to 8 students with SEMH statements and will be responsible for the behaviour support, learning, and progress of these students.
Do you have?
* Excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative, and work well under pressure.
* Recent experience with children with EBD, SEMH, and other challenging behaviours.
