The Role:
Due to continued success and expansion, the firm is looking to recruit a highly experienced Agricultural Property Partner into their well-established Agriculture team in Plymouth. The role offers the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, including private individuals, financial institutions, and those with high-value rural estates.
The successful candidate will be entrusted with a high level of responsibility from day one, working on complex, high-value matters. You will be involved in a variety of work, including advising on rural property transactions, managing estates, and providing strategic advice to clients in the agricultural sector. A key aspect of this role will be generating new business and supporting the firm's growth by building relationships and developing opportunities across the market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied caseload of rural property matters, working with both private clients and financial institutions.
* Take a lead role in business development, generating new opportunities and growing the firm's agricultural property offering.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on excellent client care and long-term partnerships.
* Play a pivotal role in the team's growth, taking on increasing responsibility for both legal and business development activities.

* Experience : You will have a strong background in Residential & Rural Property law, with substantial experience in agricultural property work, ideally at a senior level.
* Client Focus : You are a naturally ambitious individual with a passion for client care, and you enjoy building lasting relationships with clients.
* Business Development : You have a flair for networking and business development, with experience in generating new business and expanding your professional network.
* Resilience : Able to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines, you remain calm and effective in demanding situations.
