Learning Mentor Position Overview: As a Learning Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the academic and personal development of students. Your role will involve working closely with teachers, parents, and students to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Learning Mentor Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized learning plans. Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their engagement and enthusiasm for learning. Collaborate with teachers to identify and address students' learning barriers. Support students in developing their social and emotional skills. Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Assist in creating a safe and supportive classroom environment. Learning Mentor Qualifications and Skills: Relevant experience in an educational setting or working with children. Strong understanding of special educational needs (SEN) and strategies for supporting diverse learners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support student development.
