Supply Cleaner: An exciting opportunity has arisen at Facilities Management, Stirling Council for a supply cleaning assistant.
The post will involve providing a professional cleaning service on an as and when required basis and paid at Stirling Council Grade 1. Shift times may vary slightly between 3pm and 8pm Monday to Friday depending on the building you are supporting on the day. Generally, you will work across several buildings within the space of your week; however, where we have an absence or vacancy, you will be expected to remain in a fixed location for a longer period of time.
Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, using cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers, and vacuum cleaners. Be able to clean surfaces to head height and be prepared to work alone. Personal protective equipment, tools, and training will be provided. Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilize Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
