Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working with one of our partner secondary schools who are seeking to appoint a Level Two Teaching Assistant to support across the school in a variety of departments. The right candidate will have the creativity and ability to motivate students who may find aspects of learning challenging.
The successful candidate will:
* Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to relate to a wide range of people;
* Be able to work well a part of a team but also demonstrate the initiative abd abilty to work alone;
* Be passionate about being involved in the growth of students;
* Be able to demonstrate that they meet the requirements set out in the person specification;
* Be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check;
* Be eligible to live and work in the UK
Training and development opportunities will be offered. All staff are encouraged to study further and the trust will actively support staff to obtain relevant further qualifications where possible.
Core purpose of the role
The successful candidate will be a member of the Education Support Department. They will support the learning and development of students with educational, behavioural, social, or emotional learning difficulties under the instruction of their line manager or teacher in the classroom; enabling students to become independent learners helping to raise standards of achievement.
Key responsibilities
* Assist with the planning, development, and implementation of individual students passports to ensure that the Academy's Health and Safety. SEND, Medical, CLA, Inclusion, Safeguarding and Behaviour policies are maintained
* Assist in the completion and adjustment of a wide range of pre-defined learning, care, and support activities to meet the requirements of students, learning objectives, and the broader curriculm
* Assist with the supervision of students out of lesson times through supervision duties and extra-curricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
