We have a new opportunity to be part of the Race Team Operations team in the role of Race Team Operations Administrator.
In this role you will be required to:
* Assisting with the sea, air, and road freight operations, including preparation of required customs documents, invoices, Dangerous Goods and liaising with suppliers as required. Within the timeframe agreed with freight forwarders.
* Assist with non-race team air and road freight operations to ad hoc events, planning, documentation, loading/ unloading as required.
* Build relationships with required suppliers, raise necessary purchase orders to renew or repair equipment in a timely manner as required or dictated by the race events.
* Assist with budgetary requirements, record keeping helping ensure the Race Team budgets are maintained.
* Manage, and request of team Carnets requirements. Looking after all relevant documents, tracking during busy European season, and inventory of Carnets.
* Ensure that air freight security protocol is always followed when preparing air freight.
* Planning of security training, race team H&S to fit around the season calendar, work with relevant departments and suppliers as required.
* To work proactively, responsibly, and professionally always and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure.
* To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard.
* To drive Company vehicles as required in a safe and professional manner.
Key skills:
* Previous experience in a motorsport environment with logistics.
* Ability to demonstrate good working relationships with internal departments and outside suppliers.
* Computer literate with a good overall knowledge Excel for budgeting, record keeping and invoicing.
* Ability to raise purchase orders and manage correct coding for budgets.
* To be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.
* Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.
* Ability to demonstrate strong written and oral communication and organisational skills.
* Possess an innovative and flexible approach to creative problem solving and possess the ability to work through challenges in a scientific and analytical manner.
* Be results orientated and be confident in your decision-making skills.
* To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
* To be flexible to working hours as required.
