Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the accounts and rental payments of approximately 200 properties. A basic knowledge of accounts is preferable but not essential; experience within the lettings industry is also preferable.
Responsibilities
* Receipt rent in from contract-holders and process these payments with necessary deductions out to landlords.
* Chasing rent arrears and liaising between landlord and contract-holders if necessary for repayment of arrears.
* Inputting contractor invoices and deducting from statements as necessary, and paying the contractors' invoices.
* Return contract-holders' bonds and allocate funds accordingly.
* Processing agency fees.
* Working with the Accounts Manager to submit HMRC reports quarterly/annually on landlord income and overseas tax.
* Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems or software as needed.
* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Experience
* Basic knowledge of accounts is preferable but not essential; experience within the lettings industry is also preferable.
