Brief Description
This role involves managing and coordinating highway interface notifications for Network Rail. Responsibilities include collecting, validating, and sharing data for highway interface projects impacting Network Rail. The role also requires preparing and submitting pre-notification information to support highway authorities in coordinating street works and assisting in delivering briefings and training on relevant legislative and procedural requirements for managing highway activities.
About the role (External)
Key Accountabilities:
1.Support the management of highway interface formal notifications.
2.Deliver the population, validation and dissemination of data required for management of highway interface works affecting, or being delivered by, Network Rail.
3.Collate and prepare the submission of pre-notification information to assist highway authorities in the effective coordination of street works activities.
4.Assist with delivery of awareness briefings and training on the legislative requirements and Network Rail's processes for the management of highway interface activities.
Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Essential
·Good standard of education
·Good standard of written and verbal communication skills
·Significant information technology skills including data population, analysis and presentation
Desirable
·Significant knowledge of the New Roads and Street Works legislation and associated codes of practice
·Significant experience in street works management in an appropriate environment
·Awareness of railway infrastructure and its functionality
