Vacancy Overview
EDF Energy NSA provides technical training programs and courses to support the compliance and continual improvement of our existing Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) and Advanced Gas-cooled Reactor (AGR) fleet. Additionally, we contribute to the development and delivery of new programs for Hinkley Point C (HPC) and future UK reactor designs.
Scope
The NSA is a collaborative effort between EDF Energy Generation and Nuclear New Build (NNB), dedicated to delivering technical skills and competencies essential for EDF Energy's nuclear businesses. The NSA brings together technical training teams from EDF Energy's Nuclear Power Academy (NPA) and NNB. It is responsible for developing, delivering, and assuring training solutions that support the competence of HPC, SZC, and existing nuclear generation staff. You will report functionally to the HPC Admin Lead.
Working hours: Normal working hours will be 08.00-16.00, Hybrid working. Minimum of 2 days on site, depending on business needs.
Accountabilities
Managing data including email addresses, career manager information, mentors etc
Processing of performance review documents (12 weekly review) which includes logging to support end of year performance
Organising, scheduling and minuting meetings including steering groups, welcome webinars and substantive role process with appropriate supporting documents
Communications to cohorts
Supporting the flow of information from recruitment and onboarding to Programme Leads including managing data for induction, IT etc
Managing and supporting intranet and Teams channels over multiple programmes
Managing and supporting responses via a central inbox (430 individuals on programme, plus 430 Career managers)
Delivering the reward and recognition process in line with our commitments
Graduation and celebration event support
Prioritizing nuclear safety in all activities and responsibilities.
