The role Are you an experienced property or facilities management professional looking to make a significant impact? The BDA is seeking a dedicated Principal Property Manager to oversee the operations of our buildings and tenancies. In this role, you will actively engage with BDA tenants, community, and industry stakeholders to support the realisation of our building activation strategies and plans. You will ensure the efficient and effective performance of facilities management service providers, oversee building maintenance and improvement projects, and ensure compliance with NSW and Australian Government standards and regulations. Your contributions will be vital in developing and implementing the BDA’s Strategic Asset Management Plan and other physical infrastructure asset management plans. As a Principal Property Manager, you will drive the delivery of best practice facilities and tenancy management across the BDA’s property portfolio. You will establish and manage robust contractual frameworks and governance structures to ensure high-quality outcomes from service providers. Regular engagement with service providers, building users, and tenants will be essential to coordinate activities and meet varying expectations. You will support the implementation of activation and event programming, manage operating and capital expenditure, and develop maintenance programs to optimise the condition and functionality of our physical assets. For more information read the full Role Description: Principal Property Manager What you will bring to the role Demonstrated experience in leading facilities and contract management (ideally in multi-tenanted buildings) Developing building operating plans, as well as selection, management and maintenance of technological equipment and utilities. Strong understanding of best practice in facilities management along with knowledge of NSW Government initiatives, policies, systems, procedures, legislation, and NSW Treasury requirements. Demonstrated strategic and lateral thinking, agile problem-solving skills, and communication skills. A strong interest in delivering optimal outcomes for the people of the Bradfield Development Authority Ability to build and maintain professional networks and relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders. Experience in managing contracts and monitoring service provider performance to ensure compliance and value for money.
