We are looking to recruit an experienced, qualified AAT tutor who can teach across AAT levels 2-4, with a real passion for developing people to join our Accounts team at Total People. In this role you will have the opportunity to work as part of a close-knit team, to provide the best experience for our learners who are undertaking an apprenticeship in Accountancy, to create opportunities for them to be the best they can be This is predominantly a remote role where you will be delivering weekly webinars to Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 learners. This is the ideal role for an AAT Practitioner looking to develop their career. We require an individual who is a problem solver, willing to take responsibility and accountability and excels at training, engaging and motivating learners. The role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis (37 hours per week) however part-time applications will be considered. As an AAT Tutor, you will be responsible for supporting learners in a remote classroom by preparing and delivering teaching across the AAT syllabus from Level 2 to the Level 4 curriculum. You will provide both academic and pastoral support to learners, working with them to raise their ambitions and aspirations, ensuring they realise their full potential. You will work within a small team and participate in team meetings, curriculum planning and materials development as appropriate. The key responsibilities of this role are as follows: Plan and deliver high-quality engaging sessions for all abilities of learners, while maintaining good records of student progress in a remote classroom environment. Develop resources to inspire learners to succeed. Maintain current professional knowledge within the accountancy field and undertake CPD activities as required. Provide information and advice to learners throughout their programme. Provide attendance and feedback reports.Please see the attached job description for more details. To be successful in your application you will need to meet the following essential criteria: Teaching qualification. Relevant occupational sector experience and relevant qualifications (at a level higher than delivery), and/or current updated CPD. Demonstrate that you can plan and deliver high-quality engaging sessions for all abilities of learners, while maintaining good records of student progress and have a sound knowledge of accounting and in particular the AAT (AQ2022) qualifications. Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT (or equivalent). Excellent communication skills. Experience in coaching to support learning. Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload.And if you meet the following desirable criteria even better: Coaching Qualification. TAQA, AVA, A1 or D32/33 Assessor Qualification.
