The Role
To provide comprehensive Administrative and Clerical support to clinical and non-clinical staff in order to ensure the smooth running of the service. Where appropriate, supervise clerical staff and provide support to line manager.

What we'll need you to bring
1. SVQ III in office administration or equivalent office experience
2. Experience in an Administrative and Clerical role
3. Educated to Higher Grade level
4. Ability to supervise staff
5. Well developed interpersonal skills in customer care
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Good organisational and planning skills
8. Understanding of a range of procedures and processes
9. Ability to prioritise work and work on own initiative whilst under pressure
10. Proficient I.T. skills which include a working knowledge of Microsoft packages
11. Ensuring confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion are maintained at all times

This role will be based in Medicine within University Hospital Hairmyres.
