CGI UK is a bespoke property fund management business providing investment strategy, purchases and sales, asset management, performance analysis and valuation services to its clients. The company specialises in managing segregated pension fund mandates on behalf of three Local Authority clients with total assets under management of more than £1bn.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Fund Manager, probably at Associate Level, to join our London CGI UK team of 3 senior Directors. The role will be to work with two of the Directors in managing and growing the two bigger pension funds in CGI UK, as set out below, together assisting with new business opportunities to grow our business and portfolio of funds. In time to run your own pension fund.
Job Description
* Work with the Fund Managers to set appropriate annual strategies for the pension funds, and assist with buying and selling including the due diligence process
* Undertake asset management on the funds to maximise returns and reduce risk – e.g. lease re-gears, surrenders, lease renewals, dealing with vacant properties, new lettings, refurbishment, extension or redevelopment opportunities, change of use or other planning related issues, marriage value or joint sale opportunities.
* Writing quarterly and annual reports
* Oversee the independent valuation process on the funds
* Build and maintain strong relationships with the existing pension fund clients
* Conduct detailed financial analysis and modelling to support investment decisions
* Collaborate with teams across Colliers to the benefit of the pension funds
* Assist with any new business opportunities to grow the overall business
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
Qualifications
* You will be MRICS qualified
* Preferably experience in property fund management, or in asset management
* Strong financial acumen, with expertise in financial analysis, modelling, and reporting
* Excellent understanding of real estate markets
* Ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams
* Professional qualifications (e.g., IMC, CFA) are highly desirable
* Strong communication and relationship management skills
