Role Description:
Reporting to the UK People Partner, the People & Culture Advisor will play An important role in driving and delivering transactional excellence. Some key aspects of the role include the employee experience (Onboarding & Off Boarding), Leave Management & Performance Management, while fostering, promoting and facilitating positive relationships between employees and managers. The People & Culture Advisor is an key point of contact for people managers and employee groups and will advise and coach on employee relations issues arising from policy of conduct breaches taking a case management approach to these ER issues.
The role holder will be reliable, highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible in their approach to their contribution. The incumbent recognises the importance of this role in supporting delivery of the People Strategy with the business and bringing the purpose and values to life.
People:
Manage end-to-end on-boarding process - including Induction
Support the Organisation Performance Management Framework throughout the employee life cycle including Probation, ER issues including grievance and disciplinary, general absence management.
Management and administration of leave policies e.g. annual leave, sick leave, maternity/paternity, parental, force majeure and unpaid leave
Oversee recruitment process for operatives, to include advertising via ATS system, job offers, reference checks and contract administration
Process all leavers, including conducting exit interviews, analyse exit data, and produce summary reports and trending analysis
Support management in all employee relation issues, adhering to best practice. Escalate serious incidents to HR Business Partner.
Support the implementation & delivery of the people initiatives to deliver the people vision of making O'BFF a place where people love to come to work. Service (Day to Day Operations/HR Process)
Equip people managers to confidently manage through the delivery of credible and reliable HR support.
Maintenance of People system (Dayforce), to include registering new employees and file audits to maintain integrity of HR data.
Provide an excellent HR advisory and administration service, delivering accurately and efficiently, often within strict or tight deadlines.
Produce all HR/People documentation to the highest standard - e.g. salary certificates, promotion letters etc.
Implement and maintain People policies and procedures to ensure effective, fair and consistent management of employees across the UK (Leytonstone and Leeming Bar)
Ensure HR reporting is complete in a timely and accurate manner, to include headcount, absenteeism and turnover analysis.
Health and Safety
Foster and support a culture which prioritises Health and Safety by role modelling excellent H&S practices.
Ensure that a safe working environment exists for all workers within the Department and that the procedures meet the requirements of the companies Health, Safety and Environment standards by reporting workplace hazards and equipment defects until resolved
Complete Safety cards for non-conformances and good behaviour
Attend H&S meetings/accident review in the absence of the People Partner.
Organise Occupational Health Assessments for necessary employees to aid in absence case management.
Manage Long Term Sick employees in conjunction with People Partner (UK)

Previous Experience:
Experience in a similar FMCG / Manufacturing Environment.
Languages: English
Other: Full clean drivers licence required. Valid Right to work in the UK required. The role will be based in Leeming Bar with an expectation of occasional travel to support London based employee's.
