Year 5 Teaching Assistant
Are you seeking to support children with their learning development as a Primary School Teaching Assistant in the Kingston Upon Thames area? Have you had previous experience working with children and love to support them?
You will be working at Girls Preparatory School in Kingston in their year 5 team, supporting teaching across both classes, and providing booster and intervention groups. The school operates an accelerated curriculum, so maths and English GCSE is a must, as is teaching/support experience ideally gained in years 5 and/or 6. This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The Role:
* Support children on a 1:1 capacity and/or in small groups as a Primary School Teaching Assistant.
* Assist in children's early development and growth.
* Work alongside colleagues to help create a fun, safe, and stimulating learning environment for pupils and staff.
* Support the teacher with preparing classroom materials.
Requirements:
* Available to work 08:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
* MUST HAVE UK-based experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
* A Graduate is preferable but not essential.
* Passionate about working with children.
* Already have or be willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS.
* Either live in Kingston Upon Thames or within a commutable distance.
