Overview
As a Senior Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the management of services and processes that support the property management strategy, along with the day-to-day handling of the maintenance and upkeep of an existing portfolio of properties, both commercial and residential. You will need to work efficiently and in a cost-effective manner, ensuring an excellent standard of operational functionality, appearance, and legal compliance.
Responsibilities
1. Deputise for the Head of Facilities Management
2. Manage a small property portfolio in the Tunbridge Wells, Kent, and London region
3. Manage four Regional Facilities Managers (RFMs)
4. Responsible for the Service Charge Budget process from the FM department perspective and, manage and monitor the RFM team to ensure they meet Service Charge processes
5. Ensuring the company strategy through property maintenance, internal governance, and adherence to legislation always.
6. Managing relationships with regional contractors/internal maintenance team for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks from the initial tendering process and contracting, to ongoing performance management and benchmarking.
