ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Sales Director for the EU, you will be responsible:
1. Strategy & Execution:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the EU region.
2. Support in the development of EU strategy & 3 Year Plan.
2. Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring excellent service and maximizing commercial opportunities.
3. Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the EU sales team, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a high-performance culture.
4. Field Team Management: Manage across all EU markets, devising the most appropriate strategy for BA / Field support.
5. Market Analysis & Insights: Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
6. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to ensure alignment on brand positioning, pricing, and promotional activities.
7. Supply Chain Excellence: Leading the way with demand planning and management of sales in and sales out in a robust and thorough way to optimize OSA and weeks cover by market.
8. Financial Performance: Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and P&L for the region, ensuring targets are met and profitability is optimized.
9. Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to regional regulations and industry best practices while maintaining brand integrity.
10. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding distribution channels and securing partnerships with key retailers and e-commerce platforms.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
1. Experience: Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience within the beauty, FMCG, or luxury industries, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth in the EU region.
2. Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the European retail landscape, including department stores, specialty beauty retailers, e-commerce, and distributors.
3. Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
4. Relationship Management: Exceptional ability to build and nurture relationships with key partners and stakeholders, senior teams and management – internally and externally.
5. Entrepreneurial Mindset: Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
6. Results Orientated: A keen eye for opportunities for sustainable, brand-building growth.
7. Language Skills: Fluent in English; French is a plus.
8. Travel: Willingness to travel within the EU as needed.
9. Sephora: Experience is a plus.
