Healthcare Support Workers are a key part of our team and support the Registered Nurses in providing high quality care to our patients. Healthcare Support Workers work a rota pattern, so you MUST be able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights and weekends including Bank Holidays such as Christmas Day. Responsibilities To meet the direct and indirect care needs of patients under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse. To ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines. To work as an effective member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team. To work within the boundaries of the role of the Senior Healthcare Support Worker and refer to the Registered Nurse as appropriate.
