We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Consultant in Urology to join our team of friendly and supportive Urology consultants. This is from an expansion of services provided by our department.
We would encourage applications from individuals with skills to complement our existing team. The job will involve providing core elective and emergency urological care and can accommodate most subspecialist interests. The department has a keen interest in developing further complementary sub-specialist areas and we would particularly welcome applications from individuals with an interest in female incontinence surgery.
The job role involves supporting a well-established and collaborative department, focused on excellent, person-centered care.

Main duties of the job
The role involves supporting the Surgery Care Group, which includes most surgical specialties. We have a Clinical Director responsible for all General Surgery, Urology, Vascular, and Breast services across the Trust, as well as a Lead Clinician for Urology.

Qualifications
* Registerable medical qualification and FRCS or equivalent
* Full Registration with GMC and completed subspecialty training programme in Urology with CCT (on the Specialist Register)
Registration
* Full Registration with GMC and within 6 months of completion of specialist training or equivalent experience.
