Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting individuals and families in need, providing guidance, resources, and advocacy. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to community service, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. The role sits within the Assessment Team and requires you to have worked in this team or one similar before. Hybrid working is available with 3 days minimum required in office.
Responsibilities
1. Completing assessments
2. Provide counselling and support to individuals and families facing various challenges, including mental health issues, substance abuse, and domestic violence.
3. Facilitate access to community resources and services that can assist clients in achieving their goals.
4. Mentor and supervise junior staff or interns, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance and support in their roles.
5. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress notes, and case management documentation in compliance with organisational policies.
6. Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers, educators, and law enforcement, to coordinate care for clients.
7. Advocate for clients’ rights and needs within the community and relevant agencies.
Qualifications
1. A recognised degree in Social Work or a related field is essential.
2. Proven experience in social work practice is highly desirable.
3. Registered with Social Work England (SWE)
4. Completion of your ASYE
