Patient Services Officer - Admissions Team - Clatterbridge Liverpool
Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours each day working either 8-4 or 10-6 on a rota basis. May include weekends and bank holidays on an ad hoc basis.
The Patient Services Officer has a varied role which spans a number of different work areas. The tasks below describe the type of duties appropriate for the role; however, depending on where the post holder is placed, not all of the tasks may be carried out, and there may be additional duties specific to that work area expected and within the remit of the role.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Clatterbridge Cancer Centre on the Aintree site for a motivated and proactive individual to become part of a busy and friendly appointment team. The role can often be varied and complex but with a high level of job satisfaction.
The role requires the candidate to be a good team player as the successful candidate will be joining a large administration and clerical group with good peer group support. The role will also offer the candidate opportunities to learn new skills within Network Services Division and variety in their day-to-day activities.
The post holder will also be responsible for providing a front of house reception service for extremely busy departments. This will include a full appointment booking system and ensuring all reception desks run efficiently. Excellent administration skills, with a good knowledge of Microsoft applications and experience of working with patient records and using hospital databases and software is advantageous.
