The SVS Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring completion of projects according to scope, plan, budget, and relevant instructions within the following categories:
1. Material and design change on existing products
2. Optimization or troubleshooting of production related initiatives or critical production errors and high complaint levels resulting from raw materials
3. Cost reduction projects due to financial reasons or to mitigate risk at current supplier second source projects
4. Local related projects requested by Management
Manage projects with a global mind-set and with holistic thinking - respect to the cultural differences and local production set up. SVS Project Engineer shall take part in the global SVS Project Management organization setup and represent SVS Project Management in the Quality Department.
Principal Responsibilities
1. Coordinate and manage local projects
2. Analyse, scope and mobilize projects within Global Quality
3. Ensure successful completion of project within scope, schedule, and budget
4. Ensure project documentation meets regulatory requirements and Coloplast guidelines
5. Ensure project status and relevant decisions within the project are communicated to all team members and stakeholders
6. Coordinate project team deliverables during the project
7. Ensure flow and momentum in projects, which optimizes value for the business
8. Report status, KPIs, risks and issues to Head of SVS Project Management and Steering Committee
9. Focus on material shortage during the entire project lifetime
10. Contribute to general competence development and knowledge sharing in the department
11. Participate in development and maintenance of procedures and instructions relevant to SVS Project Management
12. Achieve the indicators set by the management
13. Follow safety, fire protection, rules concerning production in cleanroom and other company regulations
14. Take responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position
15. Perform their job in compliance with the guidelines given
16. Draw attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
17. Draw attention to inefficiency of the system
18. Any other duty as assigned per role and business needs
Essential Qualifications
1. Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or in a related field
2. Fluent English skills (both verbal and written)
3. Able to travel approximately 20-25 days yearly
4. Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point
5. Knowledge of MS Project or other tools necessary for Project Management
Preferred Qualifications
1. Previous experience in medical devices company
