We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will work as part of the adult community team, alongside in-house services which include outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice and a residential rehabilitation facility.
WithYou is all about working with our clients to find the right path for them to get back to where they want to be, and you will be joining an amazing team of people who go the extra mile to make that happen.
Working within one of our services is always busy, sometimes challenging but always rewarding. We work collaboratively to provide the best support and treatment to anyone who needs it, so why don't you apply to be part of something great!
Our team in the North and East of Cornwall are recruiting for a Recovery Worker to join them in providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. If you are an enthusiastic and creative individual and are passionate about changing people’s lives for the better, we’d love to hear from you.
Our Recovery Workers work with our clients to help them determine what their goals, ambitions, and passions are, working with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to get them back on the path to recovery. This is an integral role for WithYou. As a frontline worker, you will deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, delivery of interventions, and key work responsibilities. You will manage an active caseload of clients, connecting quickly with the people we support, and treating them respectfully and with dignity.
You will be a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. We’re looking for demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist setting, ideally with those who have substance misuse issues. You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills, and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained.
Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do, with a positive and engaging approach to our service users and key stakeholders.
