About The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our company. In your role as Marketing Manager, you will oversee the planning, development and execution of the 79th Group marketing plan, ensuring that all marketing initiatives align with our marketing strategies and contribute to the achievement of our business goals. Your responsibilities will also encompass analysing market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to inform marketing decisions and maximise impact. Collaboration will be key as you work closely with the wider marketing team, including our in-house design team, as well as cross-functional teams to develop broader marketing campaigns and initiatives. Your ability to effectively communicate marketing concepts and strategy to stakeholders at all levels will be essential in driving alignment and ensuring the successful implementation of marketing initiatives. You will be a results-driven leader who can inspire, motivate and develop a small team to consistently deliver high-quality, impactful solutions that drive business growth and customer engagement. Key responsibilities: Manage the annual marketing plan for The Seventy Ninth Group Oversee the planning, development and execution of all digital and non-digital campaigns including organic and paid social, SEO, paid advertising and emails Responsibility for developing and delivering high profile, external events for our key target audiences and reporting on their success Oversee the company ’ s attendance at third party, external events such as trade shows, conferences and festivals Work collaboratively with the Marketing Analyst to define, track and report on key performance metrics including ‘ test and learn ’ initiatives Work collaboratively with the Design Manager to brief in all digital and non-digital creative requirements to the in-house design team and external agencies, ensuring that all collateral is consistently in line with brand guidelines Manage the relationship with our PR agency to deliver compelling Press, editorial and thought leadership ‘ content ’ Work as part of a wider team to deliver an effective internal communications plan to keep UK and global teams abreast of what ’ s going on within the business Be responsible for ensuring that all touchpoints in the end-to-end customer lifecycle are optimised, including making recommendations for marketing channel strategy Ensure that all marketing activities follow our defined marketing approvals process, including stakeholder and Compliance review Manage the marketing budget for The 79th Group marketing plan, ensuring that all activities are delivered on time and to the agreed budget Represent the Marketing team on business-wide projects as Be proactive in making recommendations for new initiatives based on data-driven insight Line management and development of two Marketing Executives What we expect from you A bachelor ’ s degree in marketing or a related field 5 years ’ experience working within a Marketing department or Advertising Agency A solid understanding of marketing principles and best practice across digital and non-digital channels Experience of B2B Marketing advantageous Knowledge of Financial Services Marketing advantageous Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and reporting skills An energetic and enthusiastic team player, who is highly adaptable and adept at dealing with change What you can expect from us A collaborative and innovative work environment that values creativity and excellence.
