We’re currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Host Manager to join our team and play a vital role in creating a warm and efficient front-of-house environment.
Position Summary
As the Host Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience from the moment customers walk through our doors. Your role will involve leading the host team, managing guest flow, and ensuring each guest receives outstanding service. This role is essential to maintaining Wingmans' high standards of hospitality and upholding the brand's reputation.
Key Responsibilities
* Guest Experience Management: Greet guests with a warm welcome, oversee seating arrangements, and ensure smooth operations throughout the guest experience.
* Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate the FOH team, fostering a positive and energetic work environment.
* Reservations Management: Oversee reservation system (Seven Rooms) to optimise guest flow, minimise wait times, and manage special requests.
* Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for FOH and coordinate with kitchen and floor staff to provide exceptional service.
* Problem-Solving: Address and resolve guest concerns swiftly, maintaining a positive atmosphere and adhering to Wingmans' hospitality standards.
* Reporting & Analysis: Track and report key front-of-house metrics, such as guest satisfaction scores, wait times, and seating efficiency, to help optimise operations.
* Cleanliness and Presentation: Ensure the entrance and host area are always clean, welcoming, and aligned with the Wingmans brand.
Requirements
* Experience: 2+ years in a host or front-of-house leadership role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
* Customer Focus: A strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, friendly and professional demeanor.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Team Leadership: Proven experience leading and motivating teams, with a positive and collaborative approach.
* Flexibility: Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
