Clinical Sales Specialist OR - National role

We are recruiting for a field based Clinical Specialist to be responsible for training clinicians in relevant product therapy areas and the clinical support across the portfolio. You will provide support to Key accounts with product training and support across the Mediq surgical/acute portfolio. This will include supporting Theatre staff, Surgical specialities medicines management/procurement on training initiatives, supporting with clinical evaluations & pathways.
Responsibilities:
* Develop new and existing relationships with KOL’s
* Identify opportunities for Honorary contracts within the NHS/Private sector
* Work closely with Key Account Managers to ensure appropriate time allocation to business priorities across territories and organisation
* Ensure client records & administration including submission of sales expenses are carried out in a timely and accurate manner in line with company requirements
* Present to large groups of customers in all relevant areas of acute settings to support therapy areas & product usage.
* Maintain up to date knowledge of Mediq products, competitor products/activities and market changes
* Keep own skills, knowledge and relevant qualifications up to date i.e. active PIN
* Meet and exceed agreed training requirements and customers to increase revenue and business opportunities
* Maintaining the appropriate level of contact with existing customers
* Promoting the benefits of the Company’s products and training services
* Plan and prioritise training activities to achieve agreed business aims, and in particular manage personal time and productivity businesses and territories serviced
* Communicate clearly and frequently across the organisation with training progress, opportunities and priorities
* At all times work in a way that demonstrates the Company’s business methods of being open and honest, easy to do business with and providing excellence in all aspects
* Carry out Job Requirements in a manner consistent with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy, and particularly with regard to driving in a safe and careful manner
* Ensure personal records are up to date and accurate and to ensure administration and reporting are maintained in line with company requirements
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with a strong clinical background with a strong medical knowledge and understanding of the NHS. It would be great if you have:
* Clinical background in nursing or other medical profession – Active PIN or equivalent
* Theatre nurse/scrub nurse/ODP or equivalent preferred
* Active Nursing registration (active NMC pin number) or equivalent
* Ability to use MS office and other relevant computer software
* Understanding of the changes within the NHS and their implications
* Knowledgeable of customer needs and timescales required
* Be confident interacting at the most senior levels internally and externally, while at the same time able to interact well with peers
* Good industry knowledge
* Demonstrable understanding of the changing face of the NHS and how this relates to product offering
* Be well organised, detail-conscious, pro-active, hard-working, and resilient
* Be flexible in their approach and able to work under pressure
