Scope:
To provide a high-quality cleaning service by maintaining a clean and safe environment, in an efficient manner in accordance with the SLA specification.
Purpose:
Based at Truro, Penhaligon House. The cleaning operative duties are carried out to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within an office space for the tenants and staff. Within the office space, there is a small kitchen, two meeting rooms and one small open plan office. The role is carried out on Mondays - Fridays from 18:00 – 20:00.
Key Responsibilities:
· Follow work schedule for areas to be cleaned have full knowledge of areas
· Daily, weekly and periodic tasks are carried out as requested
· Demonstrate full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment and materials
· Use equipment correctly and safely at all times
· Co-operate with requests from client and managers ,giving assistance where necessary
· Manage own time effectively
· Be aware of material expenditure
· Observe clients and ISS company rules at all times
· Observe all client and company statutory fire and safety regulations and promote good safety habits.
Health and Safety:
1. Ensure Group and company safety arrangements and procedures are followed at all times.
2. Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may present an unnecessary danger or risks to health and safety.
3. Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
4. Report any accidents, near misses and cases of ill health to the Line Manager.
5. Assist the company during investigations of accidents and safety related incidents.
6. Work safely at all times giving due consideration for the safety of others.
7. Notify line management of safety training needs.
8. Assist the business in improving safety systems and performance through consultation, co-operation and communication
9. Inform the line manager of any physical or mental condition that affects the ability to work safely.
