We now have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, target driven individual with a passion and talent for sales to join our membership team as a Business Engagement Executive.
As a Business Engagement Executive, your primary responsibility would be to promote and sell Chamber services to businesses within a defined geographical area, achieving set financial and numerical targets. This is accomplished through research and engagement with businesses, by gaining a greater understanding of their needs and aligning to our array of services.

Job Description
POST: Business Engagement Executive
REPORTING TO: Head of Membership
GRADE: £30,070.00 - £32,476.00
LOCATION: Herefordshire and Worcestershire – field based
WORKING HOURS: Full Time – 37 hours per week (however, part-time hours will be considered). A range of flexible working opportunities can be discussed upon application.
Main responsibilities:
1. Research and identify and actively seek out prospects for new business opportunities.
2. Build and maintain professional networks with our partners.
3. Stay current with trends, competitors, and customer needs.
4. Meet with potential new clients to determine their needs and present the value proposition of joining the Chamber.
5. Build and manage a pipeline of prospects to deliver individual and support team membership numerical and financial targets. This could include sales calls, social media, networking and meetings.
6. Maintain up to date information on our CRM system with relevant data obtained in client visits.
7. Participation in staff meetings to assist with continuous improvement.
8. Remain up to date and knowledgeable of Chamber and partner support services/offer.
9. Utilise social media to raise the profile of the Chamber services and marketing content.
10. Attend internal and external events as required to raise the profile of the HW Chamber.
11. Carry out any other duties required by your line Manager or the business to achieve commercial objectives.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, commercially focused individual with:
1. Experience of developing strong client relationships, working in a sales role (ideally B2B) and meeting targets.
2. Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Results driven.
5. Commercially aware.
6. Demonstrable track record of consistent target achievement and income generation.
7. Drive, initiative and enthusiasm.
8. Highly motivated and goal oriented.
9. Ability to manage a range of different tasks with proven time management skills and flexibility with regard to working hours.
