The OEA is expanding, and we currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Electrical Tutor and Assessor to join our established centre near Oxford, delivering vocational training and assessments to fantastic and eager groups of students.
What the job is about
You will be joining our established site, where you will help shape the tradespeople of the future.
Working Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm you will be delivering training to enthusiastic Apprentices and existing Electricians, as well as carrying out assessments.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your trade experience to support and encourage students on their journey to becoming the workforce of the future. You won’t be on your own, as you’ll be part of a fantastic small team of other Tutors and Assessors.

To be successful in this role:
Essential skills
* Fully qualified domestic Level 3 Electrician with 18th Edition and Inspect and Test – minimum of 5 years industry experience
* Microsoft Word/Excel
* Good communication skills
* Good level of English, Maths and IT
* Willing to attend staff training courses
* Able to manage own time effectively
* Able to work well as part of a small team
Desirable skills
* Qualified Assessor – training experience would be excellent, however full training will be given if required.
* Qualified Teacher – training experience would be excellent, however full training will be given if required.
