To ensure the systematic provision of a high quality highly specialist psychotherapy service to service users within working age adult services across all sectors of care. To supervise and support the psychological assessment, therapy and psychological interventions provided by other psychological practitioners who provide psychologically based care and treatment. To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the working age adult service. To be responsible for providing a psychological lead on identified projects; providing advice, consultation and supervision. To use professional skills in research, audit, service evaluation and development to incorporate a psychological framework for the understanding and provision of high-quality care. To contribute as a senior clinician to the development of high quality, responsive and accessible services, supporting identified service developments in the working age adult service. To contribute to the development and implementation of policy changes within the working age adult service.
