We are seeking an E-commerce Manager to join our marketing & commercial team to drive enhancements and the performance of our e-commerce platform, improving UX and conversion rates, while managing the growing product catalogue online. The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales performance of the online channel and have experience working with external agencies, monitoring analytics and KPI’s to provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive up conversion and average order value.
Definition & Scope
1. Deliver ongoing improvement to user experience through implementation of best practice and new developments.
2. Work with the Head of Commercial to increase average order values through pricing and promotional strategies, and optimising cross/up-sell opportunities.
3. Through SEO and CRO, work with the wider marketing team to maximise lead generation through digital campaigns and effective conversion funnelling.
4. Be responsible for the timely maintenance of the online product catalogue and data.
5. Manage the development and continuous improvement of our sub-brands’ websites.
6. Work with customers to support their digital requirements.
7. Liaising with external agencies including developers and integration programmers.
Core competencies
1. 3+ years’ experience in a digital marketing executive or management role.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident to liaise with internal and external effectively.
3. Experience of e-commerce CMS is a priority, Magento/Adobe Commerce is preferred.
4. Experience of WordPress and Amazon Seller Central is desirable.
5. Create and deliver the website strategy with proven experience managing multiple external agencies, develop sprint tasks, and test developments ready for release.
6. Full website management, managing content & promotions, product listings and overseeing integrations with CRM. Understanding API/EDI is beneficial.
7. Reporting and monitoring website performance with a good understanding of Google Analytics & Search Console.
8. Experience in managing Digital campaigns, including paid search, paid social, PPC and SEO.
9. Strong commercial acumen.
