Your new company Our well-established client is a wholesale business and is going through a period of growth. Your new role To pick and prepare orders, pack parcels, move stock, handle deliveries and keep the warehouse in a tidy condition. To assist with using courier software and booking parcels for dispatch. To assist the Warehouse Manager with managing the team and to fill in for the Warehouse Manager when he is on annual leave. Learning the layout of the warehouse and where stock is kept. Taking an interest in the products so that you build up a knowledge of the stock and range. Becoming familiar with computer systems. Picking, checking and preparing orders. Packing parcels for the courier to collect. Moving stock and unloading containers into the warehouse. Helping to keep the warehouse in a clean, tidy and safe condition. Moving and setting up/packing products at local trade shows. Contributing to the team effort. Learning stock management software and courier software. Booking parcels for dispatch. Assisting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day management of the warehouse. Managing the warehouse when the Warehouse Manager is on annual leave. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role. Strong leadership and organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. What you'll get in return A salary of between 27,000 and 30,000 with 32 days annual leave. The company also has 2 annual bonuses plus an absence bonus. The working hours are Monday-Thursday 0830-1630 and Friday 0830-1530.
