The Education Welfare Service sits within the Inclusion Service and provides support for children and families in Windsor and Maidenhead, ensuring children attend school regularly, supporting children who are struggling with school attendance and providing advice and assistance for families facing challenges. The Inclusion team also works with other services, agencies and stakeholders to ensure children's attendance and success in accessing education. About the role The Inclusion Legal and Business Officer will play a key role in providing administrative, data management and support with legal administration to the Education Welfare Service team. This role supports the service in fulfilling its statutory duties, ensuring accurate record-keeping, assisting with legal process, documentation and managing data relevant to Education Welfare and children’s attendance. This role will involve organising meetings, maintaining confidential case files, managing and processing data and assisting with legal documentation for cases involving education welfare issues. The postholder will contribute to the efficient operation of the service by supporting legal teams with documentation, attending multi-agency meetings and ensuring timely communication across various platforms.
