Location: Halton
Salary: £24,018 - £25,997 per annum
Hours: 32 hours per week. Monday - Sunday on a 3 week rolling rota.

The Role
This is a new post for an Assistant Facilities Manager that wants to join their Active Halton Leisure Centres team with responsibility for maintaining Halton’s NEW £30 million pound asset, Halton Leisure Centre.
They are looking for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join their team. No two days will be same, so this role will be varied and will give you the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities.
The purpose of the role is to support in overseeing the day-to-day operational management and delivery of services, working alongside the Facility Manager and colleagues including to deliver a facility and services that keep the residents of Halton active.
The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all statuary legislation, with specific line management responsibilities. The successful candidate will work with colleagues from across the Authority to set and maintain standards within the service area.

The successful candidate must hold a National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and a Pool Plant Operating Certificate (PPO).
Your Contributions:
* Accountable to the Facility Manager/General Manager, ensure that customers have a safe and enjoyable experience, and that standard of service meets with their expectations and those of the council.
* To act in a first line supervisory role as part of a Facility Management Team at one of the Borough’s Sports Facilities and in the absence of the Facility Manager accept control of the building.
* To assist in the efficient running of the facility and the supervision in all aspects of staffing, Health and Safety, customer care, administration and security.
