An exciting role has arisen for a strong, client-focused candidate to join our dedicated buy-to-let lender, Zephyr, in this field-based role within the Sales, Product, and Marketing Team. This position requires travel to mortgage broker offices and mortgage industry events, covering the South West to South Wales.
About the Company:
Working under Computershare Loan Services UK umbrella, Zephyr Homeloans is the new lending brand within CLS UK, managing mortgages totalling around £40 billion. Our lender business, Topaz Finance (of which Zephyr is a trading style), ranks as the 15th largest lender in the UK, generating new Buy to Let mortgage applications from mortgage broker relationships.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role is part of a wider Sales & Marketing team responsible for developing commercial arrangements with Brokers and other relevant Distribution Networks and Mortgage Clubs. This senior role focuses on generating agreed volumes of new mortgage business, requiring extensive knowledge of the Buy to Let mortgage market. The successful candidate will build high-quality relationships with Brokers, Mortgage Clubs, Networks, and Packagers across the UK, provide feedback to the Product Development team to identify opportunities for market enhancement, and collaborate with the Marketing team to improve broker communications and marketing collateral.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive and achieve mortgage application and completion targets to meet regional sales targets.
* Maximise business opportunities with mortgage brokers.
* Maintain panel appointments with networks and mortgage clubs, ensuring marketing opportunities are maximised.
* Build effective internal relationships with key stakeholders to achieve business targets.
Skills, Experience & Competencies:
We’re looking for a self-starter with an understanding of the Buy to Let market and mortgage brokers/intermediaries in the UK, comfortable with generating new business. A clear understanding of the brand's value proposition and how to position it for maximum client impact is essential. Highly developed interpersonal skills, strong influencing ability, and commercial creativity are required to manage stakeholders and build long-term business relationships.
Additional requirements include:
* Ability to develop, manage, and implement marketing strategy and sales plans.
* Advanced literacy and numeracy skills for excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation.
* Analytic ability.
* Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) for producing high-quality documentation and project plans.
