Our Components Rebuilder - Level 1 will train with our trusted Component Rebuilders to safely and effectively diagnose and repair/rebuild all engine and powertrain components in a timely manner while ensuring positive customer relations.

In a typical day, YOU will:
* Participate in safe, environmentally sound, and healthy work practices at all times
* Repair/rebuild components for customers in a timely and economical manner
* Responsible for remanufacturing all engine components produced by Toromont Reman
* Follow Caterpillar reusability guidelines and Toromont REMAN ISO procedures
* Prepare service reports and documentation accurately and timely
* Ensure customers' requirements are met efficiently, knowledgeably, and professionally
Must-haves for this role:
* Completion of an accredited Trade School program or minimum 3 years of experience
* Minimum 70% score on the Toromont Technician Aptitude test
* Minimum 60 point rating following completion of the Toromont Technician Practical test
* Ability to learn individual systems operation and rebuild techniques
* Customer-centric with excellent relationship management, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
* Self-motivated, energetic, a team player, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Able to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
* Computer literate with proficiencies in DBS, Excel, and Word
* Knowledge of CAT SIS or experience with Toromont parts operations is an asset
* Willing and able to work flexible hours
* Valid Driver’s License and current clean Driver’s Abstract
