The Constellation Technology Team provides a group-wide set of Technology Products and Services across the Constellation Automotive Group. We are a central function working across the following domains: Technology Operations, Cyber Security, Product, Engineering, Enterprise Applications, Logistics, Architecture and Portfolio; across the UK and Europe. The Role: We are looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our fantastic technology team. The Enterprise Architect will help define and drive forward the technology strategy behind Constellation Automotive Groups internal business processes across the group in both UK and overseas businesses. You will be experienced in breaking down enterprise processes into components and defining solutions that integrate with existing systems allowing both process and technology to evolve and meet our future needs, utilizing your strong experience in either software development or data. You will have worked in an environment with both bespoke built applications and enterprise applications. The Architecture teams work closely with Technology Operations, CISO, Product, Engineering, Enterprise Applications, Logistics across UK and EU to ensure our applications supports the scale, security and resilience required while being agile enough to meet the needs of Constellation Automotive Group. Responsibilities: Contributing to the technology strategy, with a focus on business evolution, agreeing key milestones taking a lead role as required. Provide leadership bringing together business, application, infrastructure and data requirements into a single view of the solution options and recommendations Understand and manage stakeholder expectations at a senior level. Provide clear choices and recommendations that enable both business and technical decision making Work with Business and Technology stakeholders to understand their roadmaps and share design ideas Collaborating with stakeholders to identify existing challenges, facilitating the analysis of relevant business processes, and making architectural decisions based on the insights collected Understand the enterprise software marketplace, define build vs buy options and evaluate potential suppliers, covering functional and non-functional scope, integration and commercial criteria Engaging with existing partners to identify opportunities, where we can use them to advance our own technical capabilities and optimise cost Encourage teams to work independently while providing enough guidance to ensure good technical decisions and architectural consistency is maintained Support the leadership of the team and department by setting a high-performance benchmark and encouraging and inspiring excellence in the team Lead by example and model the company behaviours to the team and wider organization. Motivate, inspire and give clear direction. What you’ll bring: Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, preferably in the automotive or retail market Ability to translate business goals into technology solutions, identifying opportunities. Understanding of key enterprise integration patterns and when to use them Drive architectural level improvements, providing architectural guidance to Constellation Automotive Groups technology teams Experience of designing business processes, across highly distributed architectures Strong communication skills, to coney architectural ideas confidently and clearly to a wide range of stakeholders Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) Ability to promote inclusivity by actively seeking input from all team members and incorporating diverse perspectives into the design decisions Essential Skills: Excellent knowledge of the enterprise software landscape Experience working with Customer Platforms, ERP preferably Microsoft D365/Business Central, and HCM platforms Experience of using Architecture tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect Experience with AWS, Azure & Cloud Architectures Experience working with Data and Information security We’ve put everything in place to ensure you thrive.
