Our Vacancy
This is a key position providing administrational support within the Gas team, providing a first class, high level of customer service to both internal and external clients for our multi-utility projects.
So, What will you be doing?
This role will be assisting in the day-to-day duties within the Gas department by ensuring the smooth running of all administrative processes. You will also be:
1. Accurately managing our database and updating our gas drawings with relevant changes.
2. Liaising with internal and external customers, ensuring information is accurately communicated, including daily communication with our Gas field teams.
3. Maintaining accurate records.
4. Preparing documentation/reports for team meetings, taking notes/minutes where required.
5. Maintaining a professional, client facing approach, demonstrating excellent customer service.
6. Using a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets, and databases.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have a strong, proven background within a similar administrative or customer service position. They will also hold the following skills:
1. Strong coordination and administrational skills.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
3. Proactive and motivated approach, alongside a positive 'can do' attitude.
4. Empathetic approach to both internal and external customers, always offering first class customer service.
5. Ability to problem-solve and escalate/investigate where required.
6. Strong IT skills of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).
7. Knowledge of an office environment and practices.
8. Knowledge of the importance of customer service, understanding its impact on business performance.
9. Experience in the utilities or construction industry is beneficial.
