The Role
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Sports Cover Supervisor to:
Support and supervise pupils during PE lessons and sports activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
Deliver planned sports sessions, promoting physical health and wellbeing.
Work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide appropriate interventions and assistance.
Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging their social and emotional development.
Manage challenging behavior calmly and effectively, using restorative practices where appropriate.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A genuine passion for sports and working with young people.
Experience working with children with SEMH needs or a strong desire to learn.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, resilient, and patient approach to managing behavior.
Relevant qualifications or coaching certifications (desirable).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
