This Legal 500 firm has a fantastic opportunity to join their growing team.
In this role, you will be working within a team responsible for running a caseload of Fast Track in line with current company policies and legal requirements and assisting other team members.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure that cases are progressed in a timely and efficient manner.
* Progress files in line with KPI Targets.
* Liaise with clients, experts, barristers, third-party solicitors, and insurers as necessary.
* Deal with all aspects of pre and post-issue procedures in a timely and cost-effective manner.
* Pursue cases to conclusion.
* Ensure all actions as per Proclaim Action List are completed in a timely fashion.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Up-to-date knowledge of running a Fast Track caseload.
* Knowledge and understanding of the Pre-Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules.
* Knowledge and understanding of the MOJ Portal process, the ‘six pack’ Regulations, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Occupiers’ Liability Act 1957, and The Highways Act 1980.
* Litigation experience including running cases to trial and being able to take the lead on cases.
* Excellent court skills, including preparing and commencing proceedings, Pre-Action Disclosure Applications, Infant Settlement Hearings, attending CMCs, preparing directions, dealing with Cost Budgets where appropriate, and liaising with Part 35 experts and lay witnesses, ensuring continuity.
