Terumo Aortic requires an experienced Engineering Shift Technicians to carry out planned and reactive maintenance and associated tasks on equipment and site. This is a 4on 4off shift pattern.
Key responsibilities and duties will include;
1. Carrying out routine checks and maintenance on equipment and associated services
2. Carry out repairs and modifications to equipment and services
3. Support and deliver projects to upgrade and install new equipment and services
4. Experienced in fault finding techniques and continuous improvement methodologies
5. Ability to analyze data, report findings and recommend improvement actions
6. Collect and maintain documentation to meet safety, quality and project compliance and legislation
7. Actively participate in performance management objectives and demonstrate Terumo Aortic values
8. Assume other responsibilities from time to time in order to support objectives and personal career development
9. Provide operational shift cover
Skills and experience desired:
10. Minimum HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline
11. Proven post qualification experience of working within a multi-disciplined maintenance environment is essential
12. Experience of maintaining a wide range of process equipment Competent in the use of CMMS systems
13. Knowledge of statistical tools and MS Office applications. Experience of working in a rotating shift team
14. Previous experience in a medical device environment would be desirable
