A very high-end Jewellery company based in West London is seeking a Stock Control Specialist.
The Stock control team plays a crucial role in our operational business by overseeing daily stock control operations and ensuring that all stock procedures and Audit requirements are respected. As a Stock Control Specialist, you will be responsible to support the overall business regarding stock and administrative functions. The main duties and responsibilities:
1. Stock Management
2. Safes: Inventory and organisation
3. Responsible to coordinate stock control operations
4. Monitoring stock movements: preparation and allocation (stores, meeting, exhibitions)
5. Planner & organiser of stock inventory & investigation if needed
6. Oversee and track the stock in-transit receipt
7. Alerting key management when high level of stock movement is actioned
8. Coordinate safe-transit practice with key Management Teams
9. Keep inventory records
10. SAP: Responsible that the physical stock is aligned with the stock informatically
11. Implement new processes - lead and coordinate with the different teams
Stock and Sales Admin:
1. Coordinate the Passports of the products:
2. (Image capture and image veracity, pricing, certificates…)
3. Print and allocate the cards according to the stock movement
4. Ensure that a valid passport & required paperwork is always attached to a piece before shipping
GIA certificates:
1. Follow-up sales: Assist in sending GIA certificates to the markets on a daily basis. Adhere to the Audit logging process
2. Assist with the management, archive and control of the GIA certificate
3. Partner with IT to improve the system and the efficiency of the team
Professional competencies:
1. Background in Jewellery or in luxury is mandatory
2. Experience in a stock management role ideal
3. Passionate or strong interest for the jewellery industry
4. Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint and Word and SAP system knowledge a plus
5. GIA diamond /gemstone qualification is a plus
