Position
An opportunity has arisen for four staff nurses based at Emergency Department, University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do:
NHS Ayrshire and Arran is currently seeking qualified staff nurses to work in their Emergency Department. Post registration experience in a ward based environment is essential for this opportunity to work within our busy and developing service.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills are essential in this role. You will be committed to providing a good standard of nursing care and you will demonstrate motivation and enthusiasm to your work within the department.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
* Registered General nurse (RGN Level 1) or RN with a current NMC registration
* Working knowledge of NHS Ayrshire & Arran’s policies and procedures.
* Ability to keep relevant skills/knowledge updated and documented.
* Well developed verbal and written communication skills.
* Be able to supervise and provide a mentorship role to students and junior staff, following mentorship training programme.
* A commitment to lifelong learning and demonstrates evidence of continuing professional development

Hours: 37 hours per week - Rotational shift pattern, 11.5hr shifts.
