The firm is seeking an Early Careers Talent Manager responsible for the attraction, recruitment, and development of Solicitor Apprentices and Trainee Solicitors. What is the role: As an Early Talent Manager, you will be a pivotal member of the Early Talent team. You will be responsible for Solicitor Apprenticeships, The Trainee Solicitor Programme, Future Trainee Solicitors and Recruitment, Assessment and Selection. Responsibilities include: Overseeing the solicitor apprentice scheme in London and Liverpool. Managing apprentice levy funds and maintaining relationships with the University of Law. Coordinating annual seat rotations and ensure training needs are met. Liaising with supervisors to ensure diverse training experiences and lead apprentice reporting and planning. Overseeing the welfare and development of approximately 40 Trainee Solicitors. Managing seat rotations, including international and client secondments. Engaging with the Trainee Solicitor Council and manage the qualification process. Overseing the welfare and development of future Trainee Solicitors. Leading the relationship with the University of Law and assist with visa processes. Supporting selection processes, organise vacation schemes, and design work experience programmes. Managing budgets, liaising with the wider Talent team, and participating in ad hoc projects. Skills and Experience Required Proven leadership and managerial experience in an early talent role, ideally within a legal environment. Strong organistion skills with the ability to manage multiple programmes and projects Demonstrate knowledge of Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) and Level 7 Apprenticeships. Excellent presentation, communication, influencing and organisational skills. Strong stakeholder management skills, attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic
