Job Overview An exciting opportunity exists for you to join Frimley Health Foundation Trust as a band 6 working in the Urgent Gynae Care Centre, working alongside the other members of the team supporting patients with Gynaecological conditions up 16 weeks pregnant on the Frimley Park site. This is an opportunity for an ambitious practitioner who is ready to progress in their career. This post will require a unique and talented individual who will continue to support our Gynaecological patients. We work very closely with ED, local GP’s and the medical team to offer excellent care to our patients. Main duties of the job To lead and develop a researched & evidence-based Emergency Gynae Care service including the Early Pregnancy service. To provide a comprehensive service for the community and the Trust in the management of all Gynaecology and Early Pregnancy patients presenting with issues and complications. To be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating of patient care. To act as a multi-disciplinary leader for personnel involved in the UGCC service, with emphasis upon liaison, decision making, assessment, communication, initiation of planning, development and change in the service, with support of the Senior Sister and Clinical Matron. Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria Registered Nurse with current NMC registration Practice assessors / practice supervisors or equivalent.
